Setting up a force compliant sanding cell is easier than ever. Robotic sanding is an application where PushCorp’s equipment excels. PushCorp’s precise force and constant speed end effectors account for part variability and abrasive wear. Therefore, manual processes can be automated easier than ever.
When combined with READY’s Forge/OS programming software and the Kawasaki RS020N industrial robot you can easily setup and program a robotic sanding cell, with any robot brand, with no prior robotics experience or programming knowledge.
This force compliant sanding cell features PushCorp’s AFD310 Active Compliant Tool coupled with dual RPS100 5″ Pneumatic Orbital Sanders setup with one 3/16″ orbit and one 3/8″ for roughing and finishing operations with no change over.
Additionally, this cell features a Kawasaki RS020N industrial robot, vacuum work holding plates from Schmalz, work table from Item, safety guarding from RobotUnits, pneumatics from SMC, and laser cut components from SendCutSend.
